Jill Bard, AIA
With over 25 years of experience as an architect, planner, and programmer, I have focused on laboratory planning and design for higher education and institutional clients. In the 16 years I worked at WHR Architects, I spent many invaluable hours working with some of the best architects in the business of designing highly technical buildings.  I am well versed in the complexities of planning research labs and taking these specialized projects from design through construction and to completion. 

From 2014 - 2019, I was with Facility Programming and Consulting concentrating on the broader practice of programming for various higher education and institutional project types including medical schools, engineering buildings, instructional lab buildings and classroom buildings.

In late 2019, I launched BARD Research Design Consultants to provide specialized lab planning services in Texas and beyond. I understand the issues facing researchers today and stay current with the latest trends impacting the efficiency of laboratory facilities. I have worked with many institutional clients on highly complex projects, serving as a liaison between designers and end-users ensuring specific needs are met in order that each project is successful.
